Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in CCA production, Windchill PLM, and MRB support. This role requires a strategic thinker who can contribute to both new product development and ongoing production support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality design, documentation, and manufacturing processes for complex electromechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the design and development of electromechanical assemblies, including CCAs and PWBs, using CREO.
- Provide MRB (Material Review Board) support and resolve production issues related to CCA manufacturing.
- Collaborate with structural and thermal analysts, configuration management, electrical/mechanical designers, and quality teams.
- Manage engineering documentation and design releases using Windchill PLM.
- Apply ASME Y14.5 standards for Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and perform tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Support design reviews, production planning, and inspection/test processes.
- Travel as required to support project milestones and production activities.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- 9+ years of professional experience, or 7+ years with a master's degree.
- Proficiency in CREO and Windchill PLM.
- Hands-on experience with CCA design and production, including PWBs.
- Strong knowledge of ASME Y14.5, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
- Experience with Zuken E3 and Mentor Graphics tools.
- Familiarity with IDX transfer processes.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing environments.
