Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing structures and design structural systems for a variety of building types.
- Prepare construction drawings and technical specifications in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and drafting technicians throughout the design process.
- Attend project coordination meetings with clients, architects, and contractors.
- Assist in engaging with clients and developing new business relationships.
- Perform engineering calculations according to design codes and project specifications.
- Utilize structural design software such as TEKLA Structural Designer, RAM Structural System, ETABS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, and RISA.
- Create and review drawings, submittals, and structural documents.
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure project deliverables meet quality and client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
- EIT certification preferred or in progress.
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD is required.

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to take initiative and accept new responsibilities.
