Electromechanical Design Engineer

Required Skills & Experience (Must be clearly demonstrated in resume):
- 9+ years of professional engineering experience OR 7+ years with a Master's degree in a relevant discipline
- Expert proficiency with CREO CAD software
- Proficient in Windchill PLM database software
- Strong knowledge of ASME Y14.5, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Experience supporting CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) production and processing engineering change orders
- Demonstrated experience with CCA and PWB (Printed Wiring Board) design and development
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Zuken E3 and Mentor Graphics tools
- Experience with IDX (InterDesign Exchange) transfer between electrical and mechanical CAD platforms
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the electromechanical design and development of CCA and related hardware
- Provide strategic input to improve product design and production efficiency
- Support MRB (Material Review Board) and resolve production issues with CCA assemblies
- Collaborate across structural, thermal, configuration management, subcontracts, planning, and quality engineering teams
- Utilize Windchill to manage design documentation and ensure accurate configuration control
- Interpret and apply ASME GD&T standards to ensure manufacturing precision
- Participate in engineering reviews, design updates, and change control processes
- Occasional travel may be required to support production or supplier sites
