Set project goals and contribute to system architecture decisions. Develop unique architectures, establish use cases, and create methodologies & benchmarks for evaluating various approaches. Deeply understand the interaction between machine learning systems and surrounding systems. Provide technical leadership across scientific and engineering disciplines, balancing architectural trade-offs to deliver software solutions swiftly. Mentor fellow AI Engineers to elevate the overall quality of AI work within the team. Drive team objectives and technical direction to enhance overall organizational efficiency. Communicate detailed insights about complex features and systems effectively. Write clean, maintainable code and troubleshoot intricate system-wide issues. Stay informed about industry trends to assess and foster new technologies. Collaborate with leadership to improve team performance and identify new opportunities. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Specialized experience in machine learning or deep learning, with a focus on language technologies (NLP, ASR, TTS, Conversational AI). Experience in developing language algorithms or infrastructures using C/C++ or Python. Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch. Experience with distributed systems or on-device algorithm development. Track record of contributing to AI publications. History of planning long-term roadmaps that align with short-term projects. Salary: US$213,000/year to US$293,000/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
