We are seeking to add a Refrigeration Engineer to our team!
Responsibilities
- Service and repair plate and frame heat exchangers
- Utilizing tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges to test, evaluate, and maintain equipment efficiency
- Inspecting and calibrating ammonia equipment
- Keeping a record of accurate preventive maintenance on tools and machinery
- Sharpen decision-making skills to rapidly and precisely interpret and assign information
- Vigilantly preserve a clean workspace to observe company performance standards
- Be willing to work overtime to meet deadlines or answer urgent matters
- Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and company rules
- Staying apprised of the most up-to-date refrigeration technology to evaluate its potential for current and future tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience in ammonia-based refrigeration systems, or experience with Freon systems
- Strong capabilities to quickly identify and resolve technical issues through the use of problem-solving strategies in an effective and prompt manner
- Demonstrate excellent technical, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities
- Can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to work and live in a multicultural environment
