Arrow International, Inc. is seeking to add a Principal Hardware Engineer to our world-class Gaming Systems Team, based in Cleveland, Ohio. This position is integral to the development and successful launch of new and exciting server-based electronic gaming products in our E-Gaming Division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead architectural development efforts on platform and product level tasks Use technical organization skills to plan and implement projects Propose new features to products Provide alternative solutions to issues Participate in production support and problem resolution Participate in research and development of experimental designs and systems Mentor non-senior development staff REQUIREMENTS: 10+ years of product development experience in the gaming field, with additional experience in complementary markets Leadership experience in electrical tasks with mechanical and software elements Strong project and organizational skills to define and implement long-term goals Education: Minimum 4-year degree, such as BSEE or BSCompE, with additional work experience Expected Skills and Tasks: Lead electrical development efforts on product level tasks Plan and implement projects using technical organization skills Propose new features and provide solutions to issues Apply project management skills for planning, tracking, and reporting progress Design and develop electronic and electromechanical projects, from prototypes to manufacturing Define and lead testing of development projects towards production Create documentation for testing, assembly, and operation Collaborate with system and software engineers to develop integrated product solutions Contribute to software development discussions, understanding the impact of changes Experience with electrical and safety test certification is required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities Support production of new and existing products Interact with other groups within the company and provide consultation on issue resolution
