Mechanical Engineer An established manufacturer in the area is searching for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. Ideal candidates for this Mechanical Engineer position must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills while being an independent self-starter. Must also possess strong time management and communication skills. Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
Responsible for instructional material related to design/functionality of equipment, safety, and quality. Participate in concurrent engineering design reviews as part of a multidisciplinary team. Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, specs, and other production related documents. Design and/or procure production related equipment. Use Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to determine corrective and preventative actions to reduce/eliminate production problems. Conduct training to introduce new processes and procedures. Prepare/manufacture prototypes as required utilizing the principals of concurrent engineering.
Mechanical Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields is required. 3-5 years' experience required. Ability to work fluently with Microsoft Office. Excellent time management, problem prevention and problem-solving skills. MRP Systems experience preferred.
