Senior Reliability and Mechanical Integrity Engineer

Responsibilities of the Senior Reliability and Mechanical Integrity Engineer include:
- Lead the development and execution of predictive, preventive, and precision maintenance strategies for rotating equipment, ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
- Provide technical expertise and support for equipment repairs, root cause failure analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
- Analyze equipment performance data (e.g., MTTF, MTBF, downtime) to optimize maintenance schedules, reduce costs, and improve asset utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan maintenance activities, manage capital maintenance projects, and support the design and reliability of new installations.
- Maintain accurate equipment documentation, spare parts inventories, and training programs to support continuous improvement and workforce development.
Qualifications for the Senior Reliability and Mechanical Integrity Engineer include:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant engineering, maintenance, or reliability engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in mechanical systems troubleshooting, root cause failure analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment components and failure analysis, including bearings, shafts, gears, and lubricants; experience with CMMS (preferably Maximo) and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM), predictive maintenance tools (vibration, oil analysis, infrared, ultrasound), and CAD drawing interpretation.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering; CMRP or similar certification highly preferred.
Compensation for the Senior Reliability and Mechanical Integrity Engineer:
- Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000/year (USD)
