What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a DevOps Engineer within our North America Fuel Division. The North America Fuels (NAF) division is embarking on a multi-year transformational effort to modernize, simplify, ad consolidate our overall IT footprint. This effort will involve the creation of a new micro-services architecture in both on-premise and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. We seek motivated and skilled individuals to join our team to assist in this transformation effort. Ideal individuals have basic understanding and experience developing business software. Being a solid team player and having proper motivation is required for the candidate to be successful in this role.

The responsibilities of the role will include: Work with development leadership, architects, and other stakeholders across the company to drive the implementation of various next-gen Corpay platforms and tools. Champion technical excellence in the design and implementation of modular, scalable, and highly available software components. Understand basic business principles in order to apply those rules properly in software components. Contribute to end-to-end solution design and implementation. This role is responsible for implementing processes for DevOps for Corpay's North America Fuels division. Primary responsibilities for this role are to help the DevOps team for the team seed and grow the DevOps culture in the organization for the key corporate's software platforms, and to provide expertise to enable teams to effectively deploy DevOps processes. One of the main focus areas for the role is to enable transformation of development processes for existing applications software development into a Continuous Delivery-driven SDLC, influencing and educating development and QA teams to adjust working practices in alignment with modern day software development and delivery approaches (CI, CD, AWS). Infrastructure (AWS) and software design, continuous delivery adoption/transformation, Production and Non-Prod support, as well as planning and coaching, are key responsibilities of this role. Responsible for DevOps for both cloud based (AWS) and traditional on-premise applications. This position will be working closely with Development, QA, Operations, InfoSec and solutions architecture peer teams to build and maintain the future landscape for Corpay's core operating platforms Qualifications and Skills: Broad experience designing and developing scalable, resilient, performant applications: Distributed systems Microservices design and implementation
Aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologies. BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field highly desired. 5+ years of work experience in DevOps area supporting SDLC at scale. Excellent understanding of SDLC, patching, releases and software development at scale, Continuous Integration and Delivery approaches.
