Cloud Engineer

Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering and Cloud services
• Experience building, delivering, and managing Cloud services in AWS and Azure
• Experience monitoring and maintaining the health and performance of Kubernetes nodes, pods, and services
• Experience managing RBAC policies, namespaces, network policies, and storage provisioning
• Experience troubleshooting cluster and workload issues, including networking and scheduling
• Knowledge of networking concepts, security, reliability, and scalability, as applied to enterprise-scale Cloud hosted systems
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with systems administration in Windows and Linux
• Experience with DoD Impact Level 5 or Impact Level 6 Cloud environments
• Knowledge of DoD STIGs or NISTs
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certification
• AWS Certificate Path Certification, such as Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Engineer, or Network Engineer Certification
• DoD 8570 IAT level II Certification, such as Security CE+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
