Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, unit testing, quality assurance and deployment Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and deployment Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to the development team to build their cloud competencies Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design AWS developers are expected to understand the core AWS services and apply best practices regarding security and scalability Required skills and qualifications Hands on experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms Experience in creating large scale data processing pipelines for streaming and computing with wide range of tools and technologies on Cloud such as: Snowflake, Kafka, MongoDB or similar Core understanding of Kafka topics and Kafka producer / consumer patterns is required Good understanding of Kafka Connect MongoDB Atlas Sink connector, the Kafka Connect MongoDB Atlas Source connector and the Kafka Connect Snowflake Sink connector Proficient at doing ELT in Snowflake using stored procedures.
