Piper Companies is searching for an experienced Wireless Network Engineer for a global tech company specializing in networking and security located in Raleigh, NC . The Wireless Network Engineer will be responsible for delivering enterprise wireless solutions through RF design, deployment, and on-site support. This is a hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC and may require up to % travel. Responsibilities of the Wireless Network Engineer : Perform wireless site surveys and RF design using industry-standard tools, including predictive modeling and on-site validation. Provide operational support and troubleshooting for large-scale wireless networks in complex environments such as healthcare and manufacturing. Configure and manage enterprise-grade wireless controllers and support end-to-end deployment activities. Assist with wireless authentication setup and integration with network access control systems. Travel up to % monthly to customer locations for design, implementation, and support engagements. Qualifications for the Wireless Network Engineer : 5+ years in enterprise wireless networking and RF design. Skilled in wireless surveys (Ekahau, Hamina, or AirMagnet) and AP-on-a-stick. Experience with wireless controllers, Layer 2/3 networking, and authentication systems. Able to travel up to % for on-site work in complex environments.
