Piper Companies is actively recruiting for a Wireless Network Engineer to join a hybrid team in RTP, NC or Richardson, Texas. This role centers around conducting comprehensive wireless surveys and driving technical excellence across networking projects.
Responsibilities for Wireless Network Engineer:
Provide expert support for enterprise-level Wi-Fi deployments and configurations Investigate and resolve wireless connectivity and RF-related problems in varied settings Carry out predictive modeling and on-site radio frequency assessments Contribute to both conceptual and detailed wireless infrastructure designs Assist with deployment planning, device configuration, and system testing Requirements for Wireless Network Engineer: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT or network engineering Proficient in RF design methodologies, including AP-on-a-stick and predictive analysis Familiar with IP routing protocols at Layer 3 Solid grounding in Ethernet switching and Layer 2 diagnostic techniques Skilled in using wireless assessment tools such as Ekahau or AirMagnet Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline Compensation: Competitive salary range: $90,000 - $135,000 Benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, and legally required sick leave
