As part of the OpsTech Networks-Wireless Architecture team, you will play a crucial role in defining and delivering cutting-edge wireless solutions. These solutions are essential for the operation of Amazon’s fulfillment centers and transportation sites, helping ensure the efficient delivery of shipments worldwide. Your expertise in wireless networking will be pivotal in enhancing the availability of one of the largest wireless networks globally. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop solutions to improve the availability of our wireless network technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer challenges and implement technological solutions. Measure and evaluate the performance of existing and future network solutions to ensure they meet customer needs. Investigate and resolve complex problems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Participate in the evaluation of new technologies, conducting lab tests and proof of concepts. Innovate and automate processes related to infrastructure testing, deployment, and lifecycle management. Contribute to a 24x7 support structure, which may include night and weekend shifts. Design and update wireless network architecture to enhance reliability and reduce operational impact. Create metrics to measure wireless availability and identify performance risks.
