Wireless Communications Engineer

This candidate should be highly skilled and experienced Wireless Communications Engineer with a strong background in telecommunications, particularly in In-Building Cellular and Public Safety Radio Distributed Antenna Systems. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in project design and development activities.
Duties/Responsibilities: * Lead the selection of production hardware for projects. * Develop and validate RF designs using iBwave software. * Review and approve construction drawings, including system block diagrams, wiring diagrams, rack elevations, and conduit/cable routing drawings. * Prepare and approve product specifications and related documentation. * Write scope of work documents and equipment purchase specifications. * Interface with the major wireless network operators and clients throughout the project life cycle. * Review vendor data sheets to ensure compliance with project requirements. * Lead and manage teams of Engineers, Designers, and Drafters.
Required Skills/Abilities: * Exceptional collaboration, interpersonal, and client engagement skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proven experience in RF design development and validation. * Proficiency in iBwave software. * Experience with Sweep, PIM and CW testing and system troubleshooting is preferred * Strong leadership skills and experience managing engineering teams. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience: * Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E.), preferred. * 5-10 years of experience in wireless communications, with a focus on In-Building Cellular and Public Safety Radio Distributed Antenna Systems, required. * Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast United States, required.
Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
