Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a variety of water resource and civil engineering projects—from concept to completion.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff while supporting team development.

Foster local project delivery and regional growth in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Build and maintain client relationships and play a key role in business development efforts.

Support planning and design projects focused on sustainable water management and ecological resilience.

Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality control to ensure successful outcomes.

Represent the firm in Iowa and contribute to expanding its footprint in the regional consulting market.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field

5+ years of relevant water resources and/or civil engineering experience

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Iowa or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months

Proven project management experience with a range of project types and complexities

Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to lead independently and work effectively with remote teams across multiple locations

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with the Iowa A&E consulting market and client base

Experience with public presentations, client development, and stakeholder engagement

Proficiency in green infrastructure design and implementation

Expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, including SWMM

Prior experience in office or personnel management

Budgeting, forecasting, and business operations knowledge

Location & Work Environment: Office Location: Boone, IA (Hybrid schedule available)

Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range: $80,000 – $115,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
