Water Project Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Water Project Engineer to join a
design and consulting firm specializing in Transportation, Community Planning, Environmental, Energy, and Construction services. This candidate will manage and design new water treatment facilities and lift stations, review existing systems, prepare upgrade reports, and present findings to clients and regulators. They will join a small team of 7 to develop specifications and drawings such as process flow diagrams (PFDs) and process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for a senior drafting technician. They will travel to client and vendor locations for design reviews, field verification of designs, proposal presentations, and business development activities as well as assess the DOH, EPA, and MPCA regulations for specific client needs. This position pays between 100-145k.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
A current Minnesota PE license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
Experience in water and/or wastewater engineering evaluating, planning, designing, constructing and industrial water treatment facilities, lift stations, wastewater conveyance and water distribution systems.
Water or wastewater engineering project management experience.
Water Treatment Process Design using Revit

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

A Masters degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Business development experience
Experience mentoring, developing, and mentoring staff.
