What You’ll Do : Be at the forefront of testing innovation – execute validation and verification tests for multimedia hardware, firmware, and software. Work hands-on with cutting-edge technology – test, debug, and optimize high-performance video transmission products. Ensure compliance and quality – perform interoperability, safety, emissions, and lifecycle testing for industry-leading reliability. Solve complex technical challenges – analyze product failures, develop experiments, and pinpoint root causes. Create smarter testing solutions – design automated test jigs, scripts, and verification methods to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with experts – work closely with cross-functional teams to refine and perfect our technology. What You Bring : B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field). 3+ years of experience in multimedia hardware and systems testing. Expertise in industry-standard test equipment (Quantum Data, Audio Precision, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.). Hands-on skills in debugging and hardware bring-up – build and test units, jigs, and harnesses. Knowledge of high-speed video interfaces (HDMI, SDI, DP, 4K60, streaming protocols, etc.). Basic Python skills to modify scripts and automate testing processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset – use fishbone analysis to identify root causes. Self-starter mentality – ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Apply today! BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Execute test plans to create formal validation and verification documentation for multimedia hardware, firmware & software products. Support development and project engineers, program managers, manufacturing, sales teams, and customers in the design, development, troubleshooting, testing, release, and sustaining of high-performance digital multimedia products. Test, verify, and validate product hardware, firmware, and software, including executing and documenting test results using manual and automated testing. Perform formal validation and verification testing, including interoperability, emissions, safety, environmental, and lifecycle testing, in compliance with standards such as 60601. Analyze failure reports, reproduce failure modes, and systematically identify root causes. Design and develop test and verification plans, methods, fixtures, automated test jigs, scripts, and demo/test systems. Document and analyze test results to generate detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to schedules and task breakdowns. Develop and review technical content such as datasheets, manuals, test methods, and processes. Organize lab workbenches, storage, tools, and supplies. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE : B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience testing multimedia hardware and systems. Hands-on experience with multimedia test equipment (Quantum Data, Audio Precision, PHABRIX) and standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.). Basic Python skills for scripting and automation. Experience with bug tracking and troubleshooting. Experience building test units, harnesses, and jigs. Knowledge of high-speed video interfaces and protocols (HDMI, SDI, DP, 4K60, streaming, etc.). SKILLS, ABILITIES, & ATTRIBUTES : Strong electrical engineering background with knowledge of PCB schematics, FPGA/SoC, power systems, and high-speed serial interfaces. Excellent team collaboration and root cause analysis skills. Effective communicator with strong documentation skills. Ability to estimate testing timelines and prioritize tasks.
