RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for Release and Deployment project delivery and Lifecycle Management activities.

Ensure project close-out practices including database updates, asset tracking, inventory systems, records retention, and the related systems, tools, and process updates.

Ensure technical planning and logistics occur to achieve target schedules and annual commitment to refresh and build new DMZs are met, while incurring zero impact to the network.

Analyze and understand a variety of existing and evolving business requirements, interface with technology engagement teams and provide best in class Firewall and IDS solutions that align to meet business and technology requirements.

Execute multiple technical project engagements.

Responsible for Release and Deployment project delivery and Lifecycle Management activities.

Operate quality assurance functions prior to each implementation to meet engineering standards and mitigate risks.

Proactively raise questions and concerns to the Design Engineering team to address them prior to change implementation.

Build and operate firewall platforms including Fortinet and Check Point for net-new deployments and support Lifecycle Management through hardware refreshes and software upgrades.

Assess and advise on solutions to improve processes using Bitbucket, JSON, YML, and GITHUB to improve accuracy and efficient configuration builds.

Develop and deliver perimeter solutions by designing and engineering new hardware systems for client applications across the enterprise DMZ and deploy security devices to mitigate risk and ensure lifecycle management.

Leverage expertise in network routing and switching, including routing protocols, multicast, and LAN protocols, to validate connectivity, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate effectively with peer resources.

Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related and

5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
