User Interface Engineer, Senior Key Role: Develops, implements and supports the usage of data visualization toolkit, configuration, deployment and usage. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members. Basic Qualifications: Experience with developing software using Python or Java
Experience in creating complex multi-dimensional visualizations that are easy to understand, including options such as cascading, time-shifting, dynamic, and drill down
Experience in data modeling, including normalization of data and working with metrics
Experience in exploring unique and out-of-the-box visualization techniques and how they can be applied to networks
Experience with creating static presentations and static web pages
Experience with developing and maintaining web-based server applications and implementing algorithms that interface with relational databases (DBs) such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
Experience with leading small cross functional teams
Knowledge of agile team development
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 14+ years of experience with software engineering in a Linux environment, or 18+ years of experience with software engineering in a Linux environment in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications: Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and team-oriented environment and balance long- and short-term taskings

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
