What You Will Do You will utilize Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs to program and troubleshoot automated robotic and vision systems

You will work closely with West and South APUs and their engineers to define, install and debug vision, degating, and material handling systems.

You will be paramount in the development of standards for process monitoring and the procurement of the equipment required to support the new standards.

You will validate the testing concepts during development phases before industrialization

You will create process standards that permit duplication of testing/monitoring systems at different Valeo sites

Generate documentation / schematics for new equipment installs.

What You Should Have You have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineer (or other relevant Engineering discipline)

You have at least 4 years of experience with PLC programming (preferably using Siemens) of robotic equipment

You preferably have experience programming PLCs in a high-speed automotive environment

You preferably have experience using Variable Voltage/Variable Frequency Drives

Ability to work on the manufacturing floor solving problems, supporting manufacturing
