TS/SCI Virtualization Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Top Secret with SCI Virtualization Engineer to support a federal client of ours on a new contract award out of the Charleston, SC area. This individual will primarily support the design, implementation, and maintanence of their core virtual infrastructure, which is a VMware Software-Defined Datacenter stack. The day-to-day includes:
Infrastructure Management: Architect, deploy, and maintain the enterprise VMware vSphere environment, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and associated technologies.
Storage and Networking: Manage and optimize the software-defined storage (vSAN) to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Automation: Utilize automation and orchestration tools, such as Ansible and Terraform, to streamline the deployment, configuration, and management of datacenter resources.
Platform Support: Provide engineering support for server hardware, container hosting platforms, and the internal datacenter network fabric (including physical and virtual switches).
Backup and Recovery: Architect, deploy, and maintain the enterprise backup and disaster recovery platform, with a specific focus on Rubrik. (Preferred, not required)
Troubleshooting: Serve as an escalation point for complex performance issues across the compute and storage stack.

Skills and Requirements
Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
IAT II certification
VMware certification (VCA, VCP. VCAP, or VCX)
5+ years of virtualization experience, ideally utilizing VMware
Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Bitbucket
Bachelor's degree in a related field - NSX-T experience null
