This role includes responsibilities in labor and delivery, and occasionally providing assistance in MedSurg if needed. The nurse may act as the sole L&D nurse onsite and is expected to assist with newborn care during cesareans with the aid of RT and anesthesia.Responsibilities: Provide care for laboring patients and new mothers in the Family Birth Center. Assist in MedSurg tasks as necessary. Manage deliveries, including cesarean sections, with proper support staff. Participate in unit-specific orientation.Requirements: Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required. Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, Adv-AWHONN. COVID Vaccine Required.
