Transportation Engineer in Training (Kansas City)

Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in development in Roadway Design plans and contract documents.
- Although expected to work independently, this individual must be able to interact well with other team members within the Wilson & Company team.
- Willingness to gain experience in business development / marketing, including attendance at local industry conferences and seminars.
- High degree of interpersonal and communication skills is necessary.
- Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable to manage and develop business client relationships.
- Excellent work ethic and a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited school.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain.
- 0-3 years' experience in the design of streets and highways.
- Experience with federal, state, and local regulations that pertain to the design of street and/or highway projects.
- Experience with Microstation Roadway Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

Annual Salary range: $66,000 - $93,000
