Location: Hybrid Preferred (Remote outside CA considered) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST Pay Rate: $41.15/hour Contract Dates: 06/01/2026 – 12/31/2026 (high likelihood of extension into 2027)
Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Training Coordinator and LMS Administrator to manage all aspects of training operations, from scheduling and coordination to LMS administration. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and experienced in managing training programs, calendars, content deployment, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Training Coordination: Coordinate and schedule training sessions (virtual, in-person, and eLearning), including managing calendars, invitations, and logistics Manage training communications: announcements, reminders, and post-training follow-ups Maintain accurate training records and ensure data integrity across systems Collaborate with trainers, instructional designers, and SMEs to deploy new training content and updates Post approved training and informational content to designated platforms based on materials received from content owners or SMEs Track and manage training requests through ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce) and ensure timely resolution Support compliance and audit activities by assigning, tracking, and documenting required training Analyze training data and provide insights on participation, completion rates, and trends Proactively engage with customers to communicate training requirements, deadlines, and completion status Partner with internal teams to align on readiness status and escalate risks related to training completion Track and report on the effectiveness of outreach efforts, including engagement metrics and completion rate improvements Maintain clear and consistent customer-facing communications regarding training expectations, updates, and program changes Perform grammatical reviews of content (e.g., Knowledge Articles) and provide constructive feedback to content owners
LMS Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS), including course setup, user management, and system maintenance Upload, organize, and maintain training content (e.g., SCORM files, documents, videos) within the LMS Monitor course enrollments, completions, and certifications; generate and distribute training reports to stakeholders Provide LMS user support, troubleshooting access issues, course assignments, and technical questions Support onboarding training programs by assigning required learning paths and tracking completion status Assist in testing and quality assurance of LMS functionality, course launches, and system updates Maintain documentation for LMS processes, user guides, and administrative procedures Assist with continuous improvement of training operations, processes, and LMS capabilities Key Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS), including course setup, user management, and reporting Experience managing SCORM/xAPI content and working with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Xyleme, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) preferred Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook for calendar management, scheduling, and stakeholder communications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and data analysis (formulas, pivot tables, data validation) Proficiency in WebEx and Microsoft Teams for coordinating virtual training sessions Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint for formatting and supporting training materials Familiarity with SharePoint or similar content management systems Experience with ticketing or workflow systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce) for managing training requests Familiarity with HTML and web-based training platforms and portals
