Entry-Level Traffic Operations Engineer

You'll contribute to projects that improve roadway safety, reduce congestion, and shape the future of mobility across communities. Whether it's optimizing a signal corridor, evaluating crash data, or supporting multimodal corridor studies, you'll grow alongside experienced mentors while making a tangible impact.

What You Will Do:

• Assist in delivering diverse traffic and transportation projectsfrom traffic impact studies to safety assessments and feasibility analyses.
• Analyze traffic data and evaluate transportation system performance using industry-standard tools.
• Support the preparation of reports, graphics, presentations, and technical memos.
• Help prepare proposals, cost estimates, and scopes of work with guidance from senior staff.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Learn and apply modeling, simulation, and analytical software (e.g., Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, TransModeler, ArcGIS Pro, etc.).
• Grow in your knowledge of national guidance (MUTCD, Highway Capacity Manual, AASHTO Green Book, etc.) and local agency standards.
