Insight Global is seeking a Mid and Sr-level FPGA Embedded Engineer to join a research and development group supporting an Army program out of Aberdeen, MD. As an embedded hardware engineer, you will not only design and develop these systems but evolve them with advanced technology solutions to contribute to modeling and Simulation for EW and Cyber, and newly developed Cyber and EW capabilities. We are seeking someone eager to merge your software development and FPGA experience to create new novel engineering solutions that will directly impact the warfighter.

A successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and embedded systems, with a passion for system configurations and design. Solution-oriented thinkers thrive in this flexible and creative environment.

$44hr to $84hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

*5+ years of experience with electrical engineering

*Active Top Secret Security Clearence

*Experience with embedded hardware systems

*Experience in FPGA system design, development and testing

*Experience with VHDL coding, and low-level programming

Experience with C, C++, and MATLAB

Knowledge of Linux distributions, including RedHat and Rocky Linux

*Experience developing integrated solutions that leverage both the embedded processor and FPGA fabric of Xilinx SoC and RFSoC devices

Experience with digital RF sampling, modulations, error correction, or compression

Experience implementing modulators and/or demodulators within Software-Defined Radio (SDR) systems *Experience with DSP signal processing algorithms

*Hands on experience with DMA blocks

*Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related IT field null
