We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tooling Engineer to join our manufacturing team dedicated to producing high-quality recyclable aluminum pans. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain tooling systems that support efficient, precise, and cost-effective production processes*Key Responsibilities** Design and optimize tooling for forming, stamping, and machining aluminum components* Collaborate with production teams to assess tooling performance and implement improvements* Select appropriate materials and fabrication techniques based on production volume and product requirements* Work closely with suppliers to source, fabricate, and test tooling parts* Analyze tooling failures and conduct root cause analysis with corrective action plans* Support new product development with tooling feasibility studies and prototype design* Ensure all tooling meets safety and compliance standards, including dimensional tolerances and surface quality* Maintain detailed documentation including CAD files, tooling specifications, and revision histories*Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field* 3+ years of experience in tooling design, preferably in metal-forming or cookware industries* Proficiency in CAD software* Strong knowledge of aluminum alloys and press tooling* Experience with quality systems and manufacturing documentation* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail* Strong communication and teamwork abilities*Preferred Skills** Experience with compound diesWe offer the opportunity to work for a stable and growing company, a competitive salary and great benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and 401(k).A reasonable estimate of the starting base salary for this role is: $90,000 annualized.
