Responsibilities

Design new tooling for producing metal clips for ceiling tile products and grid systems.
Conduct 3D design of new, high-quality metal stamping dies.
Maintain detailed documentation of tooling designs, modifications, and research findings.
Prototype and develop high-quality metal stamping dies and tooling for high-volume manufacturing processes.
Create prototypes and test new tooling designs to ensure they meet production standards and specifications.
Utilize R&D/Shop equipment such as a Press Brake, Hydraulic Press, CNC Lathe, and Mill to build prototype tooling and dies.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing stamping processes within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field or equivalent experience in a progression of positions.
Proficiency in CAD software, with a preference for Solidworks, and other design tools used in tool and die making.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
High level of precision and attention to detail in all aspects of tooling design and development.
A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
