Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join a fully remote team based in Raleigh, NC , that provides outsourced IT support and managed services to small and mid-sized businesses across North Carolina.
Responsibilities of the Technical Support Engineer include: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various environments (Windows, MacOS, networking, cloud). Provide remote and occasional onsite support to clients. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure clear, timely communication with clients and vendors. Continuously improve technical and customer service skills through certifications and ongoing learning. Qualifications of the Technical Support Engineer include: 3+ years of experience in IT support or a closely related role. Strong knowledge of Windows/MacOS, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and Microsoft 365. Experience with Active Directory, Azure, VPNs, firewalls, and printer troubleshooting. Familiarity with tools like ConnectWise Manage/Automate/ScreenConnect is a plus. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent at problem-solving and communication. Compensation & Benefits: Salary; $58,000 - $80,000 depending on experience Fully remote (work from anywhere in the U.S.) 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with up to 5% company match (immediate vesting)
