Essential Functions:
This role requires a deep understanding of advanced digital design principles, signal integrity, and high-speed data transmission. As a Lead Electrical Engineer (EE), you will be a crucial member of our engineering team, responsible for the end-to-end design and development of high-speed digital electronic modules and circuit boards. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and deriving hardware requirements, developing design concepts that meet these requirements, and performing detailed electrical design of circuitry. This may encompass microprocessors, program and data memories, FPGAs, voltage regulators, power reset sequencers, analog circuitry, and interface transceiver circuits.
You will capture designs as schematic diagrams using our CAD tools, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with our ECAD department for layout and routing on printed wiring boards (PWBs). Once the PWB is fabricated and populated with components by our on-campus assembly facility, you will test and verify the electronics assembly, and support firmware and software integration. Our rigorous design review and documentation process includes the creation of requirements specifications, design documents, and comprehensive test plans and procedures.
Minimal travel required.
Qualifications:
BSEE required; MSEE preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of professional experience specializing in high-speed digital CCA board design.
Experience with standard CAD tools, Mentor Graphics Xpedition preferred.
Understanding of standard electronic interfaces, such as: I2C, USB, RS-232, Ethernet, SATA, PCIe
U.S. Citizenship required.

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly isolate and resolve issues.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide status updates.
Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to collaborative projects.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in design and testing.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $137,242 - $245,965. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
