Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Systems Engineer II / Lab Manager to join their team. As a Systems Engineer II / Lab Manager, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various testing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a passion for innovation, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Systems Engineer II / Lab Manager
Location: Seattle, WA
Pay Range: C$60/HR on Experis W2

What's the Job?
Perform nodes firmware updates and device reboots as needed.
Audit device inventory and update tracking systems regularly.
Coordinate with test teams on device requirements and oversee device maintenance.
Document and report any device malfunctions while ensuring all test devices are properly charged and connected.
Support special testing projects and assist with automation infrastructure updates.
What's Needed?
2-4 years of experience deploying and operating Linux or UNIX variants in a datacenter environment.
Strong system troubleshooting skills and proficiency in automation via Python or
Good understanding of standard internet protocols such as TCP, IP, and HTTP.
Experience with Linux, UNIX and Mac OS
Demonstrable grasp of security best practices in server configuration and access controls.
Experience in building SQL queries and managing large-scale disk subsystems.
