Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who shall provide continuous monitoring, testing, system administration, program management, and ISSO support for multiple large Linux mission systems. The System Engineer shall be responsible for maintaining the operational security posture for an information system to ensure information security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required Skills:

• Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
• Experience with basic Linux system administration
• Experience with continuous monitoring of multiple mission critical systems in a Cloud or on-prem enclave Linux environment
• Experience maintaining operational security posture for an information system
• Experience using the Agency's suite of corporate tools to report/track mission systems security information
• Experience preparing documentation for System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs), and Certification and Accreditation packages
• Experience using Git Source Control System

Desired Skills:

• Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools including Confluence and Jira
