This position will be responsible for leading our efforts to support our clients' modernization and process improvement initiatives by designing and commissioning solutions in line with our clients' financial and operational objectives to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and increase utilization and safety.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Designing and developing control systems, including PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and integration with other components like sensors and actuators.
PLC Programming: Writing, testing, and debugging PLC code for various industrial applications.
HMI Development: Creating user-friendly interfaces for monitoring and controlling automated systems.
System Integration: Integrating control systems with other equipment and networks, such as API"s, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and DeviceNet.
Commissioning and Testing: Performing on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure proper functionality.
Technical Support: Providing technical expertise and support to clients during the installation, commissioning, and operation of systems.
Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for control systems, including functional design specifications, test procedures, and as-built drawings.
Project Management: Working with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Safety: Ensuring all work is performed by safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications: Strong understanding of PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell RSLogix, Siemens TIA Portal), HMI development, industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, etc.), and control systems.
Bachelor's degree preferred
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to manage tasks and deadlines effectively.
Travel: 25% local/Regional travel, 25% national travel, 50% office work
