The ideal candidate should have a proven understanding of gas turbine auxiliary systems-including fuel gas, fuel oil, lube oil, and secondary air systems-and their operational functions. They should be able to interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), electrical schematics, and control logic diagrams, and understand how these systems interact within power plant operations!
This role involves working with in-service gas turbine units across the Americas and the Middle East. Responsibilities encompass system design, solving, and T3K control system simulation setup and testing. Familiarity with Siemens' control philosophy and the ability to tackle operational issues is crucial. Experience supporting Balance of Plant (BOP) process control is also valuable.

The position covers a broad range of responsibilities and covers various aspects of gas turbine technology and power plant operation
Candidate would work with Siemens gas turbine auxiliary systems and T3K control systems components with tasks that could include system design and resolving
This position will require the employee to react and respond quickly to various PCM issues on GT auxiliaries equipment in order to keep engines running
This position provides Customer Order Engineering (COE) for Service products which includes implementation planning, execution, documentation, support for startup, product validation and design for auxiliaries components.
Customer interaction and communication are a key part of the job, so the candidate is required to have good verbal and written communication skills
What You Bring
B.S degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.)
15+ years' experience in power plant operation and troubleshooting
Additional critical skills include a strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies, analytical and decision-making ability, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.
Candidate shall also demonstrate strong communication skills with the potential to represent Siemens in various customer forums.
