160-185K year plus bonus

The position involves providing advanced engineering support for product development and sustaining activities, primarily focused on Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP). This includes independently evaluating and adapting standard engineering methods, resolving complex technical issues, managing multiple projects, and supporting both internal teams and external customers. The role requires initiative in developing new solutions and promoting safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct product support work using judgment and innovation to adapt standard engineering practices.
  • Manage multiple engineering projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
  • Analyze and verify design solutions and lead/support equipment assembly, testing, and inspection.
  • Participate in dismantling, inspection, and failure analysis activities.
  • Compile and present engineering reports to management.
  • Engage in customer meetings and translate their requirements into actionable engineering tasks.
  • Lead internal design activities, technical decisions, and participate in design reviews.
  • Review technical documentation, procedures, BOMs, and translations.
  • Allocate and control engineering hours for support requests.
  • Support equipment fabrication, product improvements, and troubleshooting.
  • Mentor and train new and existing employees.
  • Observe and enforce safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
HSE Authorities
  • Authorized to stop work due to unsafe acts, conditions, or environmental/emergency concerns.
Required Competencies

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 8+yrs of engineering experience related to Electric Submersible Pumps.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software (e.g., PTC WindChill).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 systems.
  • Strong understanding of API, ASME, ANSI standards.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a dynamic environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of ESP systems, failure modes, and application principles.
  • Strong manufacturing engineering, testing, and analytical expertise.
