Key Responsibilities:

Lead substation physical and/or protection & control (P&C) design efforts. Develop electrical engineering deliverables using tools such as CYME. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource planning. Interface directly with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Oversee QA/QC processes and mentor junior engineers. Support renewable energy integration and grid modernization projects.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in engineering. Minimum 5+ years of HV utility substation design experience (69kV500kV or EHV 500kV+), either in physical or protection & control design. Prior experience with a consulting engineering firm on utility substation projects. PE license or ability to obtain PE within 12 years. Strong project leadership and QA/QC experience highly desirable.
