Job Title: Civil Supervising Engineer - Nuclear (USA) Job ID: 81741 Location: Charlotte, North Carolina or Mt. Laurel, New Jersey - Hybrid What you will be doing: Functioning as Civil Engineer of record for the project (including signing and sealing civil drawings), and, Managing civil project activities from conception to construction including supporting civil site work. Perform engineering calculations such as storm water and site drainage, prepare SWPPP, environmental permitting, land development plans including foundation excavation plans, roadway layout, traffic circulation studies, erosion and sediment control plans, site grading and drainage plans. Prepare designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline associated, written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards, and procedures. Prepare project estimates including material take-offs and manpower estimates Develop task schedules and engineering budgets Develop material specifications and prepare bid evaluations. Review relevant codes, design documents, specifications and construction documents to support project development. Review engineering reports and documentation prepared by junior staff Provide mentoring and technical development of junior staff Ensure the quality of project deliverables Travel to project sites as required. What you must have: Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university. Experience: Minimum 8 (10) years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering and Design. Experience in Power Plant, Transmission and Distribution, and Site/Land Development Projects. The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and be capable of collaborating with the multi-discipline engineers and designers. Strong people skills and ability to work well with others Professional Engineering (PE) license in US.
