*Job Description:*
Carroll Engineering is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of structural engineering principles along with strong verbal and written communication skills. Our team members have a wide range of experience across the commercial construction industry and are capable of seeing projects through from the beginning of design to the completion of construction. *Duties:* * Prepare design calculations using modern structural analysis software such as RISA Design Suite, RAM SS, Enercalc, among others. * Prepare construction documents using Autodesk drafting software; Revit & AutoCad * Write and edit structural design specifications in Masterworks format * Perform construction administration related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections * Collaborate with architects and designers and building contractors on design and construction of projects
*Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering * EIT preferred * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently * Attention to detail * Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced collaborative environment
