Responsibilities include:

• Developing nursing diagnoses and care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Providing comprehensive physical, emotional, and psychological support to patients and their families.
• Monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and performing wound care.
• Utilizing IV therapy competencies and managing central lines with precision.
• Collaborating effectively with healthcare teams to assess and adjust patient care.
• Adhering to infection control policies, medication administration guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting changes to appropriate healthcare members.
• Promoting patient safety through advocacy and adherence to protocols.
• Supervising Unlicensed Assistive Personnel and ancillary staff when required.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Current RN licensure with Stepdown/Cardiac care experience.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR systems.
• Ability to float to other units as needed.
• Strong communication skills and team-player attitude with attention to documentation.

Schedule & Details:

• Night shift, 3 shifts of 12 hours per week (36 hours guaranteed).
• Rotating weekends with a standard expectation of working every other full weekend.
• Contract duration: 13-26 weeks with up to 5 days approved time off per 13-week period.
• Flu vaccination required for November 1-April 1 unless exempted and approved.
