Job Summary We are seeking experienced Stationary Engineers to join our team in a direct hire capacity. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class 1 Stationary Engineer License from the City of St. Louis and possess a strong background in industrial maintenance. This role involves working with mechanical systems, hazardous chemicals, and electrical components in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain stationary engines and mechanical equipment such as boilers, air compressors, and refrigeration systems
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding, and machining equipment
Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, piping schematics, and mechanical assembly drawings
Work with 120V power distribution systems, signal, control, and communication systems
Ensure safety protocols are followed when working around hazardous chemicals
Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and improve system performance
Required Qualifications Valid Class 1 Stationary Engineer License from the City of St. Louis (non-negotiable requirement)
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent technical education
Proficiency in millwright or pipe fitting work
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Comfortable working in environments involving hazardous chemicals
Preferred Qualifications Experience with welding and machining
Familiarity with signal, control, and communication systems
Certifications Class 1 Stationary Engineer License – City of St. Louis (Required)
