Ruckus Networks a CommScope BU is seeking a Escalation Engineer who is passionate about making pioneer smart Wi-Fi products. These products enable carriers and enterprises to stay ahead of the exploding demand for high-bandwidth applications and services. How you’ll help us connect the world: Responsible for support and development of Ruckus product, including WiFi Access Point (AP), Controller (premise and cloud), and Ruckus analytic tools.
Teamwork: Interact with support team to live debug and troubleshoot customer field issues and recover customer network promptly.Self-motivated: Independently reproduce customer network issues in the lab and isolate the root cause from the lab reproduction.
Quick deliver: Commit code in the active branches, verify the fix in the lab and deliver patch solutions to customer.
Deliver business impact: Develop customer requested features to meet customer requirement and use cases. Required Qualifications: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.3 to 10 years in software engineering with a strong track record of code development on network devices.
Languages:  Proficiency in C, C++, Python, Java.
Networking:  Deep expertise in IP networking, routing protocols. Strong WiFi background is a plus.
Strong debug capability and troubleshooting scale in L2/L3 network. #LI-RB1
#LI-HYBRID Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $182,000.00-$240,000.00
The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
