Responsibilities
: Lead the design, implementation and deployment of new features and services
Build features and services using Kotlin, Python and front-end technologies
Build APIs, backend services and integrations that support our products
Work with relational and non-relational data stores
Work with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, engineers and QA
Ensure proper monitoring and respond to issues with live environments
Be an advocate for good engineering practices
Contribute to a learning culture
Mentor and coach junior engineers to meet their full potential
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited, not for profit university or college
8+ years of development experience, designing and delivering features and services in a cloud environment
Experience developing SaaS solutions using modern OOP languages, such as Java and/or Server-side Kotlin
Experience with microservices such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with messaging frameworks, such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in all areas of platform development
A solid track record of developing testable, maintainable, well-documented code
Ability to work well in an agile environment
Track record of commitment to prior employers
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to or familiarity with Microsoft stack technologies including C#, .NET core, MySQL, etc.
Familiarity with Python
Familiarity with Elasticsearch
Experience with Autodesk Revit or other building information modeling software
Exposure to non-relational data stores such as FoundationDB
Familiarity with UI frameworks such as React or Angular

This position offers an annual salary range from $144,000 - $232,000 determined by relevant skills and experience, in addition to a generous benefits plan.
