Staff Frontend Engineer, Client Engagement

As a Staff Frontend Engineer at Ridgeline, you'll have the unique opportunity to build high-quality, complex, FinTech industry-defining cloud applications for either our Client Management or Revenue Management solutions. Our engineers operate in a fast-moving, creative, and progressive environment, developing cutting-edge technologies that challenge the status quo of investment management. You'll bring your own genius, passion, and interests to the software development lifecyclewhether you're contributing to Client Management, the entry point to Ridgeline's suite of applications supporting portfolio onboarding, investor views, and partner relationship management, or Revenue Management, which powers the complex billing calculations and scalable systems that drive our clients' financial operations. This is your chance to influence the tech, culture, and outcomes of a rapidly growing product team. You'll also work with modern tools, including AI-powered resources like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT, to build innovative solutions with real impact.

We're hiring two Staff Frontend Engineers for our Client Engagement groupone focused on Client Management, and one on Revenue Management. During the process, we'll explore the best match based on your experience and interest.

What will you do?

• Partner closely with UX, Strategy, and Engineering to design and deliver high-impact features
• Own the entire development lifecyclefrom architecture and design reviews to hands-on coding and implementation
• Contribute to and help shape a cloud-native stack built on AWS
• Build automation that enables scalable, secure, high-performing applications
• Mentor engineers and elevate engineering quality across the team
• Leverage AI-enhanced tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to move fast and solve tough problems
• Bring creativity, ownership, and transparency to a collaborative, learning-focused environment

Desired Skills and Experience

• 8+ years building modern web frontends using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Jest
• Experience developing cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• A strong testing mindset and commitment to automated testing
• Excitement to learn new technologies and dig deep into business domains
• Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on both short-term and long-term outcomes
• Excellent cross-functional communication

Bonus :

• Backend experience with Kotlin, RESTful or GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with Docker, ECS/Fargate, Kafka/MSK, or Terraform
• Experience with billing systems, CRM tools, or investment/asset management
• Background in economics, finance, or design
• Agile team experience
