Software Test Engineer - Embedded Systems Minneapolis, MN (onsite)

We're looking for talented Software Test Engineers with experience in embedded systems to help deliver high-quality medical device software. You'll work on testing, debugging, and validating software from requirements through release, ensuring reliability and performance in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities Develop and execute tests for embedded software systems Translate requirements into detailed test plans and automated scripts Debug test scripts and support full software development lifecycle Contribute to software engineering standards and best practices Experience 4+ years in embedded software development (bare metal or RTOS, C/C++) Strong knowledge of firmware, device drivers, and communication buses Experience with regulated software, preferably for medical devices Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication Nice to Have Experience with requirements-based testing Familiarity with neuro devices or medical software applications This role is a specialist-level position where you'll make a direct impact on projects and may mentor junior engineers.
