Sr. Sales Engineer

we are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Sales Engineer to lead business
development and sales efforts for our semiconductor test equipment portfolio. C overing the Canadian border side, from Markham to west of Ontario. Vertical US coverage from NY, to Florida, anything East of Texas. ( Mississippi river divides the region) . Ideally an individual located, in New England or Masscgusetts. This role is ideal for a technically adept
sales professional with a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and test
processes, who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
o Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow market share in the region
of the Northern California territory.
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities within semiconductor fabs,
OSATs, and IDMs.
o Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and
closure.
Technical Consultation:
o Serve as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering
teams.
o Deliver compelling product presentations, demos, and ROI analyses tailored
to customer needs.
o Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including system
configuration and integration guidance.
Customer Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers
nd influencers.
o Understand customer roadmaps and align solutions to meet evolving test
requirements.
o Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical
conferences.
Collaboration & Reporting:
o Collaborate with product management, applications engineering, and
marketing teams to align on customer feedback and market trends.
o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline in CRM
tools (e.g., Oracle Netsuite).
The Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Physics, or related technical
field (Master's preferred).
Experience:
o Minimum 7+ years of technical sales or applications engineering experience
in the semiconductor test equipment industry.
o Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing complex sales
cycles.
Technical Skills:
o Deep knowledge of ATE , SLT Test systems, wafer-level test, burn-in, and
reliability testing.
o Familiarity with semiconductor device physics and test methodologies.
•Soft Skills:
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
o Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a remote
setting.
o Bi-Lingual in Mandarin is a plus.
•Travel: Willingness to travel up to 40% with the company, and 10% overseas
•Working Location: San Jose, California, Hybrid
Preferred Experience:
o Experience working with major semiconductor manufacturers and OSATs.
o Preferred Experience in Automation and IC Test Capitol
o Prefer background in Semiconductor IC Thermal Test Analysis and
Engineering Laboratory relationships
o Familiarity with test automation software, data analytics, and yield
