Job Description:
Support and enhance network monitoring systems, automate processes, and ensure effective monitoring across hundreds of devices, including cloud and on-prem environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Prioritize network monitoring and complete knowledge transfer and testing.
• Enhance network monitoring platforms with automation and improved processes.
• Review and ensure proper monitoring is set up for all devices.
• Automate daily monitoring tasks using Ansible and GitHub.
• Set up and maintain integrations between monitoring and ticketing systems.
• Build dashboards to improve network status visualization.
• Monitor voice quality across network segments and resolve performance issues.

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • 2-5 years of network monitoring experience.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring tools, including OpsRamp, CloudWatch, and CloudVision.
  • Hands-on Ansible automation experience.
  • YAML scripting proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of network routing, switching, VoIP, WAN, SD-WAN, and network security.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative, flexible approach.

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with SolarWinds, ScienceLogic, or LiveAction.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML for network monitoring and optimization.
