Current advancements are underway in autonomous movement and mobility, artificial intelligence and machine learning, manipulation, simulation, robotic management software, predictive analytics, and much more. We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to lead test strategy development and implementation for our complex robotic systems. This role will drive technical excellence and innovation in our manufacturing test processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
Actively foster and drive a culture of inclusion and technical excellence
Lead test strategy development and implementation for complex robotic manipulation systems and industrial automation products
Architect scalable test solutions for deployment across multiple manufacturing sites
Drive technical decisions for test infrastructure, automation frameworks, and equipment selection
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects
Design and implement comprehensive test solutions for robotic arms, end-of-arm tooling, and control systems
Lead Design for Testability (DfT) initiatives and participate in product design reviews to ensure manufacturability and serviceability
Develop and maintain test technology roadmap aligned with future product needs
Drive continuous improvement in test processes and methodologies
Evaluate and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
Manage relationships with external vendors and contract manufacturers for test equipment development and deployment
Foster a culture of inclusion and technical excellence
Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
Up to 25% travel required, including international travel

Basic Qualifications
BS in Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related technical field
8+ years of manufacturing test engineering experience
Proven experience with industrial robotics, PLC systems, and motion control testing
Strong programming skills in test automation (LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or similar)
Demonstrated expertise in test strategy development for complex electro-mechanical systems
Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and quality management systems
Preferred Qualifications
MS in Electrical, Robotics, or Mechatronics Engineering
Experience with robotics manipulation systems and automated assembly integration testing
Track record of successful NPI launches in manufacturing environments
Expertise in industrial safety systems and communication protocols (IOLink, EtherNet/IP)
Experience with cloud platforms, database, and test data analytics/visualization tools
Knowledge of industrial and machine safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 61508, ISO 10218)
Linux-based product OS testing and control experience
Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills
Excellent communication and analytical abilities
