Responsibilities include:
Providing subject matter expertise in system security requirements and designing security architecture for program platforms.
Developing System Engineering plans and procedures aligned with DoD, industry, and academic best practices.
Planning, coordinating, and integrating systems engineering tasks across all acquisition phases of the assigned systems.
The Sr. Information Systems Security Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
Program Protection - Serve as the PD SAI Program Protection Expert.
Collaborate with ARTPC to define and address Program Protection requirements.
Coordinate updates to the Information Assurance (IA) Strategy.
Oversee Threat assessments, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation plans.
Review and recommend on the adequacy of contractor anti-tamper objectives and methodologies.
Monitor contractor progress in developing and implementing anti-tamper technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
Experience with heterogeneous computer networking technology and protocol/interface standards is preferred.
Industry-recognized security certifications and familiarity with DoD INFOSEC systems, policies, and procedures.
Minimum of 7 years' experience, including at least 5 years in system security analysis, design assurance, testing, or integration of INFOSEC products and systems.
Additional relevant experience can substitute for education; a Master's degree can substitute for one year of experience, and a PhD for two years.
Certifications Required:
IAT Level II certification.
Security Clearance: Active security clearance with appropriate polygraph required.
Pay Range: $145,000 - $225,000
Note: The RealmOne pay range is a guideline; actual compensation depends on various factors including experience and qualifications.
