Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. Full Stack Java Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java Spring Boot and React Provide ongoing support for Java-based applications, including troubleshooting and performance tuning Utilize Linux command-line tools for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks Lead or contribute to application end-of-life management, including operating system upgrades and platform migrations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage application portfolios and ensure alignment with enterprise standards Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery, applying project management best practices Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams

Requirements: 5+ years of experience in full-stack development Strong proficiency in Java Spring Boot and React Hands-on experience with Java application support and troubleshooting Proficient in Linux command-line operations Experience with application lifecycle management, including OS upgrades and decommissioning Familiarity with project or program management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) Experience with design discussions for client side and server-side architectures Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Desired skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems, or software engineering Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices AWS Cloud Practitioner certification Java Programmer certification for Java/J2EE Platform Certification in project management (PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent)
